Description

Tullybardine Distillery is a Scottish distillery that has been producing single malt whisky since 1949. The whisky distillery is located in Blackford, Perth and Kinross, near Mount Ochier and Dennybourne. In 2011, the distillery was sold to the French company Picard Vins & Spiritueux. The company founded a spirits company called Terroirs Distillers in 2013.

The Tullibardine 18 Year Old is a truly exceptional single malt Scotch whisky produced in the Highlands of Scotland. This 18-year-old bottling is characterized by its impressive maturity and depth, which is achieved through careful storage in first-class oak casks. From the first sniff, this whisky reveals a complex bouquet of aromas. Notes of vanilla, honey and dried fruit are accompanied by a hint of spice and fine oak. These rich, inviting aromas immediately whet the appetite for the first sip. On the palate, the Tullibardine 18 year old impresses with its elegant balance and complexity. Sweet vanilla and caramel meet nuances of ripe apples and pears. These are joined by spicy tones of cinnamon and nutmeg, which round off the taste perfectly. The oak is present but wonderfully integrated, giving the whisky a pleasant warmth and depth. The finish is long and smooth, with a hint of chocolate and light oak notes that linger for a long time.
