In the distillery "Glen Moray" the exclusive single malt whiskies are distilled since 1897 on the banks of the river Lossie at the gates of Elgin, one of the oldest cities in Scotland. Locally malted barley and the pure waters of the River Lossie combine to produce this delicate, well-balanced whisky.

Matured over 18 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which gives the whisky its complex structure and depth. Glen Moray is renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail, which is reflected in every drop of this whisky. This Glen Moray 18 year old is ideal for special occasions or as an exclusive gift for whisky connoisseurs. It can be enjoyed neat, but also unfolds further aromas in combination with a drop of water or an ice cube.

The whisky begins with a complex and aromatic fragrance that combines rich vanilla, honey and floral accents. There are also subtle hints of ripe fruit such as apples and pears as well as a hint of oak. A full-bodied, soft texture unfolds on the palate with a deep, multi-layered taste. Notes of caramel, dark chocolate and dried fruit are accompanied by a light spiciness and a hint of smoke. The finish is long-lasting, warm and pleasantly dry with a hint of nut and spicy oak.
