Description

Dalmore is a whiskey distillery in Alness, Highland, Scotland. The Dalmore has always set the highest standards in whiskey craftsmanship. The water used in the Dalmore comes from the River Alness, which runs through the small town of Alness, in the The location of Dalmore's Distillery and its soft, floral taste qualify it as a Highland Malt.

This is an extraordinary single malt, matured in three equally special barrels. With its maturation in three barrels, The Dalmore The Trio is a fascinating combination of rare and exceptional barrels. The whiskey is first matured in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak. This provides the basic aroma of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whiskey is split between first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, 10-year-old Tawny-Port barrels and 30-year-old Matusalem sherry barrels. The three quantities are then brought back together for harmonization.
