Glengoyne is a whiskey distillery south of Killearn, Scotland, in the Campsie Hills in the southern Highlands. Bold, complex flavors from the slowest stills in Scotland only matured in the best of casks. Glengoynewhiskys' various bottlings have won awards around the world Only traditional methods and raw materials are used for aging. Only American or Spanish oak is used for the barrels. Most of them come from Jerez in Spain, where premium sherry was previously made.

The enormous depth of its taste is the result of the finest maturation, from the heart of the best FIRST-FILL European sherry barrels. Glengoyne Balbaina is a fine Highland single malt whiskey with warm spices and a powerful, golden hue. The selection of European oak guarantees an intense and spicy character, the ideal partner for our Glengoyne Balbaina while it is maturing in the stone warehouses in Dumgoyne.

Notes of caramel with raisins, dried apple and clove fill the air. This is a warming whiskey matured with spicy raisin tarts, maple syrup and clove notes. In terms of taste, soft caramel melts on the tongue, with dried apple, toffee and rich in sherry. The finish is dry with a soft oak fragrance, persistent spice and citrus notes.
