Glengoyne is a whiskey distillery south of Killearn, Scotland, in the Campsie Hills in the southern Highlands. Bold, complex flavors from the slowest stills in Scotland only matured in the best of casks. Glengoynewhiskys' various bottlings have won awards around the world Only traditional methods and raw materials are used for aging. Only American or Spanish oak is used for the barrels. Most of them come from Jerez in Spain, where premium sherry was previously made.

This is the taste of the finest maturation, from the heart of the best FIRST-FILL American Olroso Sherry casks. Glengoyne Cuartillo is a delicate Highland single malt whiskey with sweet fruitiness and a bright golden hue. These barrels are deeply revered by the local winemakers from Cuartillo and other southern Spanish wineries of historical importance. The wood guarantees a soft, wonderfully balanced character, the ideal partner for our Glengoyne Cuartillo as it matures in our stone warehouses in Dumgoyne.

Notes of toffee, apricot and vanilla - with a hint of cinnamon fill the air. The whiskey's flavors are appetizing and fresh, with vanilla tartlets, soft toffee, saffron, and sweet malt. In terms of taste, this is a very fruity, elegant, and smooth whiskey - matured with apricot and a touch of cinnamon. In the finish it has a balanced mixture of pleasant spice and sweet fruit notes.
